Grouping Paragraph B&C

Text B and text C both share the same technique, which is a multi-modal article. When muli-modal features within a text, it can be used to entice the audience and help them to create an image of what their food should look like, regarding the cookery instructions. By inserting a picture of the result in the background, this could help the audience as a template as to what their end result of food should look like. The same feature is within the Mr Men book, where they have created a comic image of the part of the secene. This could help the interaction of the children reading the book, and help them to interpret the meaning of this extract. Multi-modal is used to help to inform in this case, especially due to the context of both texts.

Self Improvement Task - Layout

While my lay out in some areas is quite strong, my paragraphs and the way I structure them are not as good as I would like. I will read through high graded work in order to use the techniques used by these students in my work to change my work to a higher standard.

The advertisement for the Samsung music phone, entices the attention of their target audience. The target audience could be people who are interested in phones; especially media based phones, such as this new music phone. They have used synthetic personalisation through the use of ‘you’ which creates a relationship between the writer and the audience. This implies to the audience that the phone is made for them.
